Maths and reading for four- to seven-year-olds, taught out loud.
Nubi Math and Nubi Read. She says every question aloud and never rushes. No ads, and nothing ever leaves your child's device.

Every question is spoken in Nubi's own recorded voice, so a child who cannot read yet can still play on their own. Answers show the numeral and a pattern of dots together, so they can count the pips if the number isn't familiar yet.
A fact counts as learned after three clean first-try answers, spread over at least two different days. An answer that needed the last hint doesn't count. That one rule is most of what separates real progress from a tap counter.
A lesson is twelve questions, about four minutes, and then Nubi says so and stops. Short and often beats one long sitting. No streak to break, no lockout, nothing that punishes a child for a week their family was busy.
Counting, adding, taking away, comparing, number partners, skip counting, shapes, patterns, sorting, measuring, teen numbers, equal shares, equations, rows and columns and solid shapes, following the Common Core progression from Kindergarten to Grade 2. The strands are interleaved on purpose: a shapes lesson sits between counting and comparing, because a child who only ever sees sums gets bored of sums.
A progress page shows which strands are secure, which are coming along, what your child is working on now, and how often they have played. It sits behind a gate that asks for a sustained two-finger hold, so small hands don't wander into it.
Not one ad, ever. No sign-up, no name, no age. The app has no analytics and never sends anything anywhere, so it works on a plane and nothing about your child can leave the device. Wrong answers are amber, never red.
The same Nubi, now teaching reading. She says every letter sound, word and question in her own recorded voice, and names every picture, so a child who cannot read yet always knows what is being asked.
Listening for sounds and rhymes, letter sounds, blending, reading and spelling words, sight words, magic e and vowel teams, up to reading whole sentences, following the Common Core Reading Foundational Skills for Kindergarten and Grade 1.
Twelve questions a lesson, then she stops. The first seven lessons are free for good. No ads, no account, no tracking, and nothing ever leaves the device. For iPhone and iPad.
